Yeah, another post about Polyvore. I can’t help it. I’m supposed to be studying for my very last final of the semester (which is tomorrow), and my study breaks are getting longer and longer as I waste precious time creating sets. It sucks so much that I don’t have a doppleganger to either study or polyvore for me. Poo! WHY MUST THE HEAVENS BE SO CRUEL!?!

Last night I was browsing around Clutch Magazine when I come across an interview with Kathryn Amberleigh. Apparently I’m not the only one absolutely drawn to her truly funky shoe collection, as Clutch writer Eboné Smiley puts it, “Whether you consider yourself edgy, chic, sophisticated or just plain confident enough to pull off any look, Kathryn Amberleigh has the shoe for you.” She sure does.

Exercise is great. Not only is it a stress buster, but it also builds up self esteem as well as your muscles. Everybody knows this but sometimes it’s really hard to convince yourself to get to the gym, right? Well, how about getting your exercising done in a more creative way, that way you’ll be too caught up in having fun that you won’t even realize you’re working out!

I’ve got it! Remember my little dilemma about what to be for Halloween?! WELL, I’ve finally decided that I will be a Fafinette! HAHA it actually hit me that it would be such a fun and girly costume while I was in the middle of my Japanese mid-term, random I know. But don’t you think it’d be fun!? I mean, not that I’m going to actually go anywhere on Halloween, but just for the heck of it, I would like to dress up. I only have one problem now:

WHICH CHARACTER SHOULD I BE!?

See, I love all of the Fafi girls, but with only 8 days until Halloween, I’ve got to pick a favorite, and fast! So I ask you girls, out of the Fafi girl’s shown, which do you think I should dress up as:

Who doesn’t love playing flash games? They’re fun, and a great way to waste time. Since it’s mid-term week, studying has taken over. And since studying alot eventually means there’s going to be a study break, why not spend that time playing a few games online to lighten up the mood. As they say, all work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy…whoever Johnny is.

I just found out that Lesley Roy is searching for a stylist for her new video! The 21 year old Irish singer has a had her music featured on MTV’s The Hills, and she’s teamed up with Polyvore and LuLu’s to find the perfect look for her vid! HOW EXCITING!! I’m totally going to enter, as I love Polyvore, and I’m not gonna lie, I really wanted to be a stylist at one point. SO, if you think you’ve got the skills, then head over to the contest page at Polyvore and enter!  The Grand Prize winner gets his/her look in the video, and to take home a special gift from LuLu’s. Plus she or he gets to be featured on Seventeen.com’s style blog! WOOT!

Don’t forget to link back to your sets in the comments, cuz we wanna see what you got too!

Wednesday night’s party was so much fun! But first, before I give my take on the night, I’d like to officially apologize to all of the people who’s toes I stepped on (figuratively and literally). Also, I’d like to say mucho thank you to Scene PR for sponsoring our little shindig! Woot!

And now, for those of you who could not make it out: you really missed out on some fun! hehe! The model competition was feirce, and I was so suprised that so many models participated! There was an abundance of beautiful faces, all lined up and ready to strike a pose for the photographers in the VIP pit. It was a little hectic, and we almost ran out of time for each model, but everything worked out great, thanks to the cooperation and understanding of everyone involved.

Yep, that’s right, I spend countless hours at my computer squinting and tinting so that these puppies come out just right. I started dolling about hmmm, say 3 years ago after randomly browsing around some doll sites and it started out just as a curiosity of “dressup dolls” which are kinda like digital paper dolls: they start out in their undies and you get to mix and match their outfit however you want.

I used to make my own paper dolls when I was little, and I think what drew me to the dressup dolls were the memories of it all. Now of course they’ve got super advanced dress-up doll sites like Roiworld and I-dress Up where you can do everything to the doll, down to her makeup. But what I like most about “Cartoon Dolling” is that even tho you start out with a base, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll end with the same finished product as another doller, unlike the Dress-up Dolls that have only so many options.

Ah, I love to dance. It’s such a fun way to stay in (or in my case, get in) shape that I don’t really notice I’m exercising! I also love youtube. What does youtube and dancing have to do with each other? Well, in this post, EVERYTHING!

If you read my last post, you may have noticed that I listen to a lot of Asian pop music. And well, since I don’t live in Asia, Youtube is usually how I get my dosage of Asian entertainment. My favorite thing to youtube are the dance steps to gasoo’s music vids/performances. It’s so cool, because you’d hardly ever see an American artist allowing “how-to” videos of their choreography to be made for fans. *cough*stingy*cough*

Anyway, so far, I’ve learned Boa’s My Name dance, parts of Se7en’s 열정(Passion) dance, and now, I’m focusing on learning Lee Hyori’s U-Go Girl! WOOT! haha I was sooooo delighted when I saw they finally had UGG uploaded. You have no idea how this song has been stuck in my head. It’s FEEEEIIIIRRRCCCEEE!
