What is it with stylists NOT knowing how to style!? Seriously, it seems like all of the award shows are just train wreck central. I recently went slack-jawed over Katy Perry’s …I don’t know what to call it, and NOW I’ve come across some pics of Beyonce’s outfit (shudders) and Lil’ Mama’s get up (po’ thang), not to mention Raven Symone’s green potato sack. I’m pretty sure they themselves would NEVER have co-signed these outfits if it weren’t for the hordes of yes men and women out to secretly ruin them.

Now, I didn’t watch the MTV Europe Awards, so I don’t know the context of these outfits; however, they’re very eyebrow-raising, right? There’s a fine line between quirky that works, and what in the hell!? Katy Perry, who normally falls in the quirky that works catagory, wore some really out there fashions at the awards that wobbled between ooh and ew.

I love Raven Symone. She’s hilarious, and oh so cute, plus she’s such a good role model for young women. However, I don’t love this dress Raven wore to the TinkerBelle “Pixi Premier” held in Hollywood, CA on Sunday. The color is in theme, but I think there is too much fabric going on around her bust.

I understand that she may have been trying to play down the size of her breasts, but the extra fabric of the dress actually accentuates them. Plus under her arms it seems like the dress is too big. Man, her stylist is NOT getting any props for this.This dress totally takes away from Raven’s voluptuousness and makes her look like a frumpy box! Big NO-NO, especially when Raven usually looks very nice at red carpet events. Raven (or her stylist) should have just stayed away from the rouching and gone with a more simple bust and/or a more open neckline.
