What?! No that’s not a typo, this post is actually about finals week and the things I heart about it. You may be asking yourself what is there to heart about  tons of essays, exams and stress all at once? Trust me, there are a few things.

Recently we girls here at GirlyBubble have been made aware of some new product from MMK Brands called the “Passport Panty and Cami Set“. What is it? Well it’s just panties and a camisol folded up and “camouflaged” in a passport like carrier. Why is it? Well, because out of all of the luggage that goes through security at the airport, the x-ray screener guy wants to know what kind of panties YOU wear, so of course you must hide them as James Bond-esque as possible.

Yeah I know I’m kinda late and all, but I just found out about the Flip. It’s one of the cutest, coolest mini video cameras I’ve seen! It’s got three versions of it: the Mino, the Ultra and the Video.

The Mino is the smallest of the group weighing only 3.3oz. It’s also the only version that’s customizable, which is really cool. The Ultra, while it isn’t up for customization, does come in white piped with bright colors like lime green, fuschia, and a shocking orange. The original Flip Video is probably my least favorite because it only comes in black or white, and it doesn’t have a rechargeable battery but it’s still kinda cool. Check out the website for more info on the specs and stuff if you’re interested in that sort of thing. For me it just has to work (and be pretty).

Also on the website, you can find demo videos for each version in different lighting and situations to get a good look on the quality, but if you’re like me and don’t trust the company “brochure” fully, you can watch this youtube  video of New York Times reporter David Pogue, comparing the Flip Ultra’s video quality with a traditional video camera.

Yep, that’s right, I spend countless hours at my computer squinting and tinting so that these puppies come out just right. I started dolling about hmmm, say 3 years ago after randomly browsing around some doll sites and it started out just as a curiosity of “dressup dolls” which are kinda like digital paper dolls: they start out in their undies and you get to mix and match their outfit however you want.

I used to make my own paper dolls when I was little,and I think what drew me to the dressup dolls were the memories of it all. Now of course they’ve got super advanced dress-up doll sites like Roiworld and I-dress Up where you can do everything to the doll, down to her makeup. But what I like most about “Cartoon Dolling” is that even tho you start out with a base, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll end with the same finished product as another doller, unlike the Dress-up Dolls that have only so many options.

Labor Day weekend was really hectic for me. I don’t want to go too much into it, but I was really stressed out and needed a big hug, or laugh, or both. Ever have one of those days? Luckily for me, I watched about the cutest thing I’ve seen all week. You see, there’s this cute little bunny in a bowl I and believe he was sent to relieve my tension. Ok, not really, but I did feel a lot better after watching him, and I must warn you, if you are having a crappy day, this will help. Get ready to say “Aww!”
